The Year · Season 1 · A live story in parts
He lives under the Foster Dreamzzz roof in Little River. Uptown 66 in Hallandale Beach, the kitchen whose birria taco Good Morning America named the Best Taco in America, has signed a letter of intent to train him as a kitchen apprentice.
The chef who will train him started at 16, washing dishes in the Bronx. Now he'll be beside Alexander every day, from prep to the line to service.
If Alexander meets the kitchen's standards, he'll be considered for a permanent place on the team. Nobody knows yet how his year ends. You'll find out with him.
A second young man in Little River is working toward his own trade. His story comes next.

Surprise moments when a Dream Maker company shows up with what a young person has been hoping for, filmed by Dreamzzz Studio. Short cuts are free on the website; the full stories are in the app. See Dream Drops
Every quarter, a plain account of where the money went and what it made possible.
Every story is shared with the young person's consent, and they can withdraw it at any time. Members see first names only, and homes, schools and exact locations are never shown. Partner organizations review every update before it's published.

Partner organizations identify each Dream privately, and nothing is public until it has been delivered and the young person has approved the film. Companies can become Dream Makers here.
